Technical lecture by DEKRA Japan’s explosion-proof engineer ended with success

On December 18, 2024, a technical seminar titled "The Latest Trends in Global Explosion-Proof Standards and Certification/Acquisition, and Correct Understanding and Application" was hosted by Technical Information Center Co. During the event, Mr. Pankyu Abe, one of DEKRA Japan's experienced explosion-proof engineers, delivered a lecture attended by several dozen participants, including online attendees.
Mr. Abe covered key topics such as explosion-proof application standards, the process for obtaining ATEX certification in Europe, and how to acquire local explosion-proof certifications in various countries, referencing the IECEx certification framework.
In addition to product certification, he introduced DEKRA Japan's explosion-proof quality audits (factory audits) and the IECEx CoPC (Certification of Personnel Competence).
